Search Engines & Directories still offering free submissions are getting harder to find. Following are many of the Search engines & directories we use in our website promotion campaigns.

Australian Search Engines & Directories

  Global search engine and directory – regional search. Google pagerank: 9. Alexa: 5,000. Make sure to select the correct category before submitting. This is a VERY important directory, and is checked by human moderators before your submission is accepted – make sure everything is correct before submitting!
• Google - www.google.com  - [ submit url ] 
  Google pagerank: 9. Alexa: 221.

Thanks Michael, I scan regularly for broken links, but sometimes dead websites end up as parked domains (full of ads). I’ll do a manual scan now…

The major search engines don’t seem to differentiate between website created for desktops and those for mobile devices. If you search for a hotel on your mobile phone you get a list of hotels but they may be mobile compatible or may not!
We have just launched a FREE mobile website directory where only mobile compatible website are listed . This makes it easier when trying to find information about hotels, new cars, property and travel as you don’t have to zoom out or in as the website fits your device.
Everyone (with a mobile compatible website) can add their website to the directory FREE.
